I once wrestled a full-grown heifer to the ground with my bare hands, so I think that qualifies me to eat hamburger. I didn't kill him, but he could tell I meant business, and I would have if my dinner had depended on it, and I had I had the right incisors...nevermind. Also, while I take elevators like anyone else, I refuse to go to floors higher than I'm willing to walk the stairs, though that number has changed as I age. Thanks for bringing up the topic. It's worthy of its own post. Probably on another blog. Obviously, this rooster is food/livestock. Also, NYC law accommodates rooter ownership for religious purposes, so the law isn't as black and white as it seems. Some friends of mine thought they had purchased chickens, and found a rooster in the set, and had to trek to Chinatown with the illegal cock to find someone to do it on the DL. Good luck!
