From Amy of the Youth Committee at Community Board 9, comes the following announcement. I'm absolutely blown away by these young kids. Establishing a relationship now with a local babysitter, when they're young, means they can grow with your family. Since they're still in school, they probably won't be right come fall for all your daycare needs. BUT it's incredibly helpful to have some names and numbers at your fingertips. Am I right? Also, you'll be investing in the community by hiring local. These kids need the gig - please come and give 'em a shot. What do you have to lose? :
The Q at Parkside
News and Nonsense from the Brooklyn neighborhood of Lefferts and environs, or more specifically a neighborhood once known as Melrose Park. Sometimes called Lefferts Gardens. Or Prospect-Lefferts Gardens. Or PLG. Or North Flatbush. Or Caledonia (west of Ocean). Or West Pigtown. Across From Park Slope. Under Crown Heights. Near Drummer's Grove. The Side of the Park With the McDonalds. Jackie Robinson Town. Home of Lefferts Manor. West Wingate. Near Kings County Hospital. Or if you're coming from the airport in taxi, maybe just Flatbush is best.

It'd give some young people jobs. I like this idea! :)
The babysitting training work shop was held in our store, Play Kids. I was so impressed with the youth that attended. We're so fortunate to have a fine group of teens fully trained and ready to babysit our little ones.
My daughter used to attend The Irving School. She absolutely loves the staff. She is 2 now attending their sister day care, Love and Patience.
Funny you should mention the sister school. I just heard from Miss Irving that she wants to hold this at the sister school at 102 Fenimore instead of her 398 Fenimore location. Q, I'm making Miss Irving a new version of the flyer, I'll send it to you when it's done. Shelley, if you'd like some to hand out at the store I can drop some off with you tomorrow afternoon.
Yes, Sean please bring some over, I'd be glad to hand them out.
Well. This is really a good input about babysitter. Yes, it is really very vital to to hire and meet with babysitter for taking great care of child and I hope that through reading out this wonderful allocation everyone will come to know vitality of hiring a babysitter. Thanks dude :)
This article came in perfect time. After taking my 3 kids everywhere my husband finally convinced me to get some help at least 1 – 2 days a week. He suggested one day for errands and one day for me. Hmmm I wonder if the fact that I was growling at everybody within 5 feet of me last night showed a little stress HA! Now I know how to go about hopefully finding a great reliable sitter. Thank you.
