Dear Friends of Parkside,
The Parks Department tells us that they've had to delay the planting of our new trees on Parkside Avenue by a few weeks. Our trees are on the way ... but will not be in the ground before this Sunday.
So, we are delaying the tree celebration & daffodil planting that we had planned for this Sunday, November 17. Please accept our apologies, and please accept our promise that in short order we'll be announcing a new date!

Tim, can you use some extra daffodil bulbs? We have leftovers from the Lefferts Gardens Charter School effort on Parkside Ave. Let me know if you can find them a good home before the first frost.
Dear god, what about the children?
Suffer the children to come unto Parkside and plant daffodils ... in a couple of weeks, when the trees arrive, assuming the ground doesn't freeze first. Or, you know, just suffer the children in general.
