Hard to believe it'll come off as advertised. But it will be great to see the candidates confront each other up close and personal.
Folks, this race is going to be a lot closer than anyone imagined...
The Q at Parkside
News and Nonsense from the Brooklyn neighborhood of Lefferts and environs, or more specifically a neighborhood once known as Melrose Park. Sometimes called Lefferts Gardens. Or Prospect-Lefferts Gardens. Or PLG. Or North Flatbush. Or Caledonia (west of Ocean). Or West Pigtown. Across From Park Slope. Under Crown Heights. Near Drummer's Grove. The Side of the Park With the McDonalds. Jackie Robinson Town. Home of Lefferts Manor. West Wingate. Near Kings County Hospital. Or if you're coming from the airport in taxi, maybe just Flatbush is best.

Recap for those you couldn't make the debate: Eugene showed up late (surprise, surprise), lied about his record, threw a temper tantrum, and stormed out of the debate at the end while his supporters tried to start a fight. Brian Cunningham was poised, eloquent, had concrete policy ideas, showed up early and stayed late to help out & speak to constituents, and even fact-checked Eugene in real-time, calling him out on his lies. I know who I'm voting for.
